Eco-
Awareness
Water is a significant issue in Singapore not only because of its strategic importance to the city-state’s survival, the country’s physical and economic transformation is also permanently recorded by the ever-expanding shorelines that are reclaimed from the surrounding sea.

Water: Pearl’s Hill Reservoir
Bring Back the Spring.
There is a lost fountain right behind the tourist bus parking lot on Spring Street. The street was named because of the spring that used to be there, which shows the connection with the history of Kreta Ayer. Therefore, it may be more meaningful to replace the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple with a fountain square. It will help create a space for people to gather and be aware of what truly happened there before.
In view of the tooth relic, which is special to the Buddhists, it can be moved to an underground space combining with the fountain for a more dignifying experience.
The rest of the square will be planned for landscape and theme activities. Due to the compactness of the shophouse area, it can provide a breathing space for the tourists and residents.
02
Green: Pearl’s Hill Park
Do farming in the city.
The Roof of People’s Park Complex is open to not only the residents living there but the public.
Instead of a large vacant space, it can be used for a roof garden and rooftop farming. People can enjoy a good view while becoming a part of the view by planting flowers and vegetables.
It also fits the sustainable development goal of the city.
